We are very pleased to announce that Helbing Lipp Recny Architects has received the 2016-2017 George C. Vickers Business of the Year Award from the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. David and John accepted the award at the Chamber’s annual banquet in June. The award was given “in recognition of your long-time business and being a part of the economic growth in Jefferson County,” according to the Chamber’s executive director, Heather Morgan McInytyre.
Our firm opened our office in Charles Town in 1983, and has served the folks of Jefferson County and surrounding areas since then. We have provided architectural services for just about every school in the Jefferson County School District, as well as several local historic buildings, commercial businesses, and religious facilities. Earlier this year we completed Jefferson County School’s bus maintenance facility, and are currently finishing up the sanctuary renovation for Asbury United Methodist Church in Charles Town.
It is truly an honor to receive this award and we are grateful to the Chamber for selecting our firm. We remain committed to serving clients the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and look forward to many years of future success.
